We just had our bathroom totally remodeled. We wanted to have the option of having a sturdy seat in the shower that would not take up a lot of space. This seat really "fits the bill". Our contractor added extra wood in the walls when he put in the new shower. The seat is securely anchored and perfect for a wet environment. We have aged parents who visit us and need to sit when showering so this should be great for them too. The seat was a lot more $$ than the cheaper teak versions at the big box stores but so much better! Our contractor was really impressed with the quality of the seat. The brushed stainless steel goes well with the brushed nickel finish of the other bathroom fixtures. Love the seat!! Spend the extra money for this top quality seat and you will not be disappointed! Amazon's price was better by far than any others.
