This blanket is so beautiful and nice. These pictures don't do it justice. It is really soft. I know they call it fleece, but I would say it is more like cashmere. So beautiful and creamy. It comes tied up with a little bow and a story about the "peace silk" it uses. Basically, instead of killing the silk worms like most silk manufacturers do, the silk isn't harvested until the worms are done with the cocoon so they aren't killed.

I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but I thought it was really neat that this company that says they don't harm any animals because they are cruelty free isn't just talking about geese (why they don't have any down pillows or anything) and sheep, but literally worms too.

The weight is good, not too thick, but not too light like a lot of throws are. The size is nice, but it is just a throw sized blanket. I am only 5'3", so that is big enough for me to use when I am laying on the couch reading or something.

I definitely recommend this blanket. It's really much nicer than I would have thought when I ordered, but I am such a lifekind fan that I was willing to take a chance, and I am very glad I did.
