I wanted a stained glass that didn't block the view from the parlor window and this piece is the right size. It catches the morning sun and the veins in the wings show nicely. I wish there was a little more "sparkle" when the sun shines on the glass: not sure how that could be accomplished, perhaps if the blues were a little more translucent?
