My husband and I received this platter as a wedding present. It was meant to match the original 10 Strawberry Street dinnerware set I wanted. Unfortunately that went out of stock so we decided on a different dinnerware set. This platter still matches so well! It has a good weight to it and does not feel like it will easily break or chip. I have used it to serve a weeknight meal and for a nice party we had. Very versatile and highly recommended.

When I saw this sofa on the picture I really liked it. When it arrived, the quality was exact what I expected but the size... Hmmm... The the back of the sofa is low so while sitting I want to put something under my shoulders. And the length is also a bit small. I am 5'8'' and this sofa is exact for me but I would not recommend it to someone who is at least 6'' as you definitely fill uncomfortable while sleeping. Overall, the sofa is good if you do not plan to spend most of your free time on it :D

These chairs are very nice and comfortable. Putting them together took awhile, but that is to be expected given the low cost. The color is very similar to how it shows online. I do think they are a big too big for our dining room table (it seems to overshadow the table), but I am happy with how they look.

This is a beautiful table which I returned. The picture is misleading, beware, it is only the table. I thought the chairs came with it. If you want to order the chairs the picture is just of the chairs, so why don't they have just a picture of the table for those who want to order a table. I have 2 granddaughters and I ordered what I thought was 2 sets at a reasonable price. I returned them when it turned out to be only tables.

This Purist Multifunction Showerhead in Polished Chrome is beautiful. It has a solidly build shower arm and nice size flange for the wall that doesn't look skimpy at all. (I had a builder's grade showerhead before and it was terrible.) This chromed showerhead is great quality. It does have 3 different spray patterns too. My only complaint, if I were designing such a large showerhead (which in the one spray pattern model has a more rain shower pattern with holes all over the head) is that I would have a pattern that utilizes some of the outer areas of the showerhead. The way it is, the water only comes from the small inner circle area and nothing around it. It would be nice to have a pattern with a larger circumference of spray, utilizing the entire showerhead along with some center spray and not just the center part...such as a rainshower pattern.
I got this one since I wasn't sure my water pressure here was great, being told we have smaller main water lines than most in our town and knowing it isn't the best, and having the ability to change spray functions would give some choice to find the one that is best.
This showerhead has a large plastic (chrome color) ring on the outside that you turn to adjust the pressure. It is a simple and pretty design and works well. The installation was easy.

This is a quality product made from heavy material. It functions very smoothly unlike cheaper shower heads. I am very happy with it. One thing to beware of is that it comes with its own arm (which is a beautiful product). I did not note that it has a female end where my old arm has a male fitting. Accordingly I could not use the new arm and installed the the new head on my old shower arm instead. I would love to use the new arm because it is a thing of beauty.

I got my first Le Creuset cookware in 1978. It was my college graduation week, & I was relaxing on the lawn reading the Sunday Boston Globe. I saw an ad for a Le Creuset starter set (French oven + 2 covered saucepans + skillet) for a very low price, so I decided to go for it since I was about to be out of the dorm living on my own. That purchase turned out to be one of my best investments ever, as I still use all the pieces today. I now have 3 French ovens, 5 covered saucepans, 3 skillets, 1 oval au gratin, 1 multi 2-in-1 pan with nonstick omelette cover, 1 rectangular baking pan, & 1 cheese fondue set, all in flame. These cast iron utensils are virtually indestructible, except for a few minor dings in the outer enamel. They cook very evenly, given the cast iron, making me a possibly better than average cook (they're one of my unfair advantages). My only problem with the cookware is the heavy weight, but that comes with the territory with cast iron utensils. I guess I'll have to get someone else to lift the pots when I'm old & decrepit. I know they'll outlive me!The 2 qt French oven is the other workhorse of my kitchen, in addition to the 4-1/2 qt French oven. Most often, I am making pasta sauce in the smaller French oven while boiling pasta in the larger one. In addition, I use the 2 qt French oven to make smaller batches of soups, gumbo, or stew for when it's just my wife and me for dinner. I use it on top of the stove & in the oven. And then it goes to the table for serving, given its attractiveness.Don't be put off by the high price of Le Creuset pots & pans. In the long run, they're a bargain because of their long life.
