I have bought this ad several other size olivecwood bowls from this seller and they are great. greatvas in a great value, well made fromsustainably sourced olivecwood ( so they say...), and exquisite wood quality with lovely olivewood grain. This 12" bowl is a nice size to serve 2 salad-hungry folks or 4-6 for small side salads. The bowl is carved from a solid block of wood so no seams or bonded joints; each contain minor natural imperfections that do not at all hinder use/durability if the bowl is treated properly...no dishwaher, no soaking , etc. Each bowl is artisan-made in Tunisia.

The seller is great. I have bought a number of bowls for my homeand for gifts. The seller is very helpful,and very fast at shipping. I have doecalot of research on olive wood bowls nd these are one of the best values avsilable in the US. Much mre affordable than Berard, but of completely comparable quality.
