Acme 05858C Conrad Adjustable Sofa, White Polyurethane Finish Review

I ordered this sofa because I have to furnish an entire apartment on a small budget and it was the exact thing I was looking for at a cheap price. It looks exactly like the photos and I only had to screw in the legs, which was a cinch. The biggest complaint I have is that the only appropriate place to put it is up against a wall because the back of the sofa/futon is made of that cheap black material used on the bottom of box springs and (I guess) couches. It looks great against the wall, I just wish I had known, because I was originally planning to use the sofa as a separator between the living room and dining room, but the back is so unsightly, I had to nix that idea.

Coffee Table with Storage Drawers in Walnut Finish Review

This is a typical cheaply made particle board coffee table. The fit and finish are poor, and I repeat it's particle board with the possible exception of the legs. Had it been packed well and arrived undamaged, I may have managed another star for my review. However it was packed and shipped horrendously. It looks like whoever was in charge was giving bonuses for speed, bubble wrap was tossed in the box as an afterthought, packing tape was wrapped around the table and drawers directly to the finish. Yes, it was THAT bad. The instruction sheet was balled up in a corner. So of course there was damage. Dents and kicks all over. The drawers, having not been supported properly and unprotected, were shipped in place in the coffee table, and had bounced around during shipping, resulting in cracked drawers that I will need to glue and lots of rub damage to the surrounding table area. This table looks used, like it has been moved 2 or 3 times from one apartment to another on it's side in the back of a pickup truck next to a shovel. I am angry to say the least! Will I bother trying to return this monstrosity? No, I'm sure the trouble and expense of trying to send this piece of junk back will be more than it's worth in a refund I may never get. However if I can prevent just one prospective customer from purchasing this THING I will have considered my job done. Thank You.

I have ordered many of these....one of the few in this price range that is made larger than most....8' 6".....i love the detail rather than most are plain....my only complaint is after awhile the edging will unravel...may take a few seasons but they do begin to look a bit worn around the edges.....but they are great outdoor additions!!!! Love the palm tree one the best!!!
