Everything arrived in a timely manner and in good condition, which was good. No complaints about the seller.

The size is great for me, I'm quite tall (6'7") and with this blanket it is long enough I can fold it under my feet and still pull it up to my chin. So, I really like that.

It's also a fairly nice blanket, it feels good and seems to be of good construction. (I'm not an expert on the matter, though, just an impression)

However, I can't quite tell whether the Outlast technology is doing anything. It's still cold when I first climb in, and I'm still too hot by morning. I'm still using old fashioned techniques like sticking parts of my body out of the blanket to cool off. Also I find it almost seems like it takes longer to warm up in the blanket sometimes, like it is too thin. On cold nights I'm putting my previous duvet on top of it so I can warm up faster.

So, the extra investment in Outlast technology isn't clearly paying off for me. I can't say for sure why - perhaps I'm outputting more heat than it can absorb and I need MORE Outlast stuff like the sheets and mattress topper. There's not a lot of information available about how the technology should actually feel or what the difference would be if I have more or less of it. Should the blanket be warmer then a normal blanket when I get in? Should it prevent me from feeling too hot a few hours after getting in?) Certainly I'm not getting the "not too hot, not too cold" experience I was hoping for, unrealistic as that may seem. Perhaps it is benefiting me and I just can't tell - perhaps I'm overheating a few hours later than I would with a non-Outlast blanket.

I also bought an Outlast pillow at the same time and the story is similar: nice pillow - but if the Outlast technology is doing anything, it's too subtle for me to declare it a winner.
