First, I thought I was getting the "Lock-Top" brand. This "Lock-Tight" is not the same. It arrived, our chimney sweep installed it, and then we all realized it was not useable. The spring was SO TIGHT that I had to use both hands, with leather gloves, to be able to pull the top down to the closed position. Each time I tried to do this I feared breaking the unit or scraping my hands and arms against the fire brick. My wife could not do it at all.

We returned the item but never got confirmation or a refund from the company. My fault for losing the post office shipping receipt so I had to eat the cost.
