Welded frame tempered glass mirror. One-piece, roll-formed 3/4" by 3/4" (19 x 19mm) angle-frame. Type 304 stainless steel angle with satin finish. Corners heliarc welded, ground and polished smooth. Beveled frame edge at mirror for improved appearance. 1/4" (6mm) tempered glass mirror. Galvanized steel back. Secured to concealed wall hanger with theft-resistant mounting. Tempered glass mirrors resist breakage and provide a Measures of safety from broken glass, but differ in color and reflective quality from standard glass mirrors. Bobrick uses the highest quality tempered glass mirrors. Modest distortion or heat-generated markings are normal in the tempered glass mirror manufacturing process. Therefore, Bobrick will not accept returns of tempered glass mirrors with random distortion or markings.

This mirror looks great, the satin finish looks really good with the mirror. The mirror matches my satin sconces quite well. I can't wait to hang it on my wall. Very clear reflection with tempered glass. It is incredibly heavy however and I think will take 2 people to hang.

There are downsides by ordering this mirror... first off, the mirror has a etched in "tempered glass" and some codes. It's not a huge etch or anything, but it's visible. It's kind of crummy that it is on the front lower right of the mirror where everyone can see it.

Onto the worst part about this mirror and why I didn't give it 5 stars. The packaging this mirror comes in is absolutely terrible. Nothing this fragile should be shipped in such light packaging (it's just a sleeve box that the mirror sits in, no protective packaging). Even though it has "fragile, glass, don't drop" on it, you know UPS/Fed-ex is prone to do that. The first mirror I ordered came in and the frame was all dented in a good 5 different places. I was extremely disappointed. Fortunately Amazon has great customer service and allowed me to return it for an exchange and the second one came...marginally better than the first one. I was able to straighten out the dents myself, but it's just annoying that it's not packaged better.

Maybe you'll get lucky and your local shipper will be more gentle with it. But I wouldn't be surprised if this product is getting exchanged on the regular. Amazon just needs to fix the packaging and it would be a 5 star product.
