I was looking for a storage bench for my master suite area. I wanted something that would hold extra blankets and add some color to an empty area of the room. I was also looking for Made in USA.

This bench fit the bill on all counts. I found it on several other sites with good reviews which removed my apprehension from buying furniture on-line.

It is by no means a high end piece of furniture, why would it be at this price?. However, it is very attractive and solid. The fabric skirt arrived a bit crumbled as the bench is tightly packaged but the skirt lifts up so it was easy to iron out the few wrinkles. It comes fully assembled.

As the walls of the bench are thin, the storage compartment is almost the entire dimension. I have two blankets and four sets of sheets stored in it. It is not comfortable enough for a long sit but is plenty sturdy enough to sit on. There are no hinges but the cover is easy to remove. The Woodhouse Rose is a nice subdued pink ie suitable for adults.

Amazon had the lowest price of all the sites when I ordered it a few weeks back and although a long wait was noted, I received it in 1 1/2 weeks after ordering. The prices vary quite a bit on Amazon, depend on color and supplier. The price also changes frequently. Now the price is $50 more than I paid for the color I ordered but some of the other colors are now lower. My supplier was Amazon but it depends on which color you purchase. I am very happy with this purchase and that it was MADE IN USA.
