The Lyris Bar Stool is a well-padded, tastefully designed stool with a sizable seating area and attractive horizontal stitching design. I just bought a pair of these off of Overstock. I wanted some slightly taller than average bar stools for the 46" bar in my apartment. While these are slightly taller than the standard 30" seat height of typical bar stools when fully extended, they compress several inches with an adult's weight on them. Overall though, they are more comfortable than anyone could rightly expect from a bar stool and despite being faux leather, they are quite attractive and convincing.

I have just a few complaints about them. They wobble a little when fully extended and they aren't very stable on carpet, but I think this is primarily a problem of pneumatic stools in general. Also, the foot rest on these stools rotates with the seat, which means that the foot rest is always pointed forward with the seat. However, it also means that you can't rotate the stool with your feet. I prefer stools in which the footrest is stationary and runs 360 around the stool.

Overall I would recommend these stools for their comfort and overall appearance, but don't buy them for taller bars, they are essentially normal height bar stools and a little wobbly at the tall height.

Just put this on my bed and I'm very disappointed. I have a standard king size mattress and the king size comforter is too small. It is smaller than the top of the mattress. There is no overhang at all, which might be fine if you're sleeping alone. I can see my husband and I getting into a tug-of-war match with this comforter in the middle of the night. Shouldn't the comforter be larger than the top of the mattress?

I would have given 5 stars had the first one I received not have been defective, it wasn't damaged in shipment either. All the slats on one side were not positioned on the pins that support them to the sides, I needed this thing in a hurry so I debated prying open the ends of the slats that were supposed to wraped around the plastic pins but then I noticed it actually shipped from a local supplier. I had todrive 30 miles to exchange the bad one for a good one but they were willing to do it so I wen't that route instead.
The replacement was perfect and functions very well, it is a major improvement over the cheap plastic framed setup that originally came with my fan, so I would recomend the purchase as long as my defective one is an anomally and not an example of a more widespread quality issue.

Teavana Monkey Picked Loose-Leaf Oolong Tea, 16oz (1lb) Review

I bought this tea about 6 weeks ago. At the time it was being sold by Gongfu Tea although it also said it was Teavana's Monkey-Picked Oolong Tea. Two ounces were priced at just under $10. Knowing how expensive this tea normally is, I bought 8 ounces of it. At the time it said that it would take 2-3 days prior to shipping. I was not prepared for the fact that the tea was actually shipped from China since it did not indicate that anywhere on the page. When it arrived, it was packaged in mylar and vacuum sealed. However, the only writing on it was in Chinese. To be honest, with all the difficulty with some Chinese products, I've not been sure if I should drink it or not. I'm not even sure how to go about returning it since it came from China. I've already contacted Amazon about the situation prior to my even receiving the tea. To their credit, Amazon corrected it fairly quickly.

Word to the wise - be sure the tea is coming from Teavana and not from Gongfu unless you are comfortable using tea that is not labeled for US consumption and comes to you directly from China. Unfortunately, the official Teavana oolong tea is not going to happen at a bargain price like I got! Of course my bargain price makes little difference if I don't drink it!

Alvin Opal Folding Drafting Table Review

I love this thing. I use it for Puzzels. I set it at and angle so I can reach the top without hurting my back. For those that do puzzles you will know what I'm talking about. I also bought a piece of whiteboard for $7.00 at Lowe's and cut it to the exact table size. Then set the table level and use it to finish the wood toys I make. When it's puzzle time again, I take the whiteboard off and "clean table" again for puzzles. Can also be used right over the top of a partially completed puzzle. The table is very sturdy and sets up quickly. I did add a small piece of hardwood to the bottom to keep things from sliding off of it when it is on a slant. I used a piece of 1"x1/4"x 12" hardwood and predrilled two holes in the side of the table to mount it. Sticks up about 1/4" over the bottom edge and works perfectly for my purpose.
